Latest project has been to create a jacket from a sweat shirt obtained at IQF . Here tis:

One cannot see all the embroidery work but it is there with words in script surrounding the images on black. This is my very first attempt at inserting a zipper and cutting a shirt apart to resew & decorate. I don't want anything to match .It is NOT a FASHION statement only a fun project & challenge!

Her STORY:

I'm happy with my costume says she. When I came to live here I was all white ,floppy, and could not sit up on my own. My face was not to my liking so now I have had a complete & glorious make over.

This was a Christine Shively pattern that someone had used. Since I had a class with Christine ,I could not stand by & watch this gal remain so very pale & limp. She seems much happier being a bright bulb of light & color during these dull gray winter days.

Petals to the bod

Bod petals being attached. She's almost done. The next pic will show her . Instead of a text blogger I 'd like to show pics as work in progress to illustrate a point.

Bright spot

work table is cluttered on a dreary foggy day. These petals and leaves will be used to costume a figure.
